The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of the button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with future models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create and combine rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is best self emptying robot vacuum and vacuum combo that has all the features you could wish for. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.
The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it to its base station. The control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
